It’s Eamon Dunphy, Baby!
I am, and always have been, a great admirer of Eamon Dunphy. Never afraid to hold a firm, controversial position, but never afraid to change that opinion either. And often the second position is the polar opposite of the first one! In a world where people appear afraid to be seen to change their minds about things, this makes a refreshing change and is part of why Dunphy is so popular
We cover a lot of ground in this chat and, as you’d expect, Eamon has got some strong opinions about hot topics like football (the super league), media, fame, and politics. But we also see the other side of Eamon – his love of family and close friends, his excitement about his first post-Covid ‘date night’ with Jane, and how he reflects on some of the more controversial things he has said and done over the years. I enjoyed every minute of this conversation.
It’s Punchestown Racing week, and we cross live to the ‘Easing of Covid Restrictions’ Handicap Hurdle. Who’ll get over the line is anyone’s guess!
Hope you enjoy the show,
